Welcome to Community of Praise Baptist Church!
We describe ourselves as "A Life-Giving Cell Church Passionate for Jesus and Declaring His Glory in the Nations." From our beginnings in the early 1990’s, we have been growing as church with a mission to make a difference by loving God, loving people and serving families, communities and even nations.
A move of the Holy Spirit in those early days launched a wave of ministry marked by passionate worship, gifts of the Holy Spirit and a heart for the harvest. While we are known as a Baptist Church, the best way to understand who we are (our identity) and what we are all about (our assignment), is found in our mission and values.
Three Missional Values define our DNA and core purpose as a church:
We pursue Intimacy with God
We are focused on Evangelizing the Lost
We are intentional about Making Disciples

The letters CPBC are a familiar way to identify our church. More recently, we have been using C Praise as a fresh way to capture and emphasize the fact that besides being a Community of Praise, we are also Called to Praise, Committed to Praise, Creative in Praise, Constant in Praise and Courageous in Praise. Besides these great “C” words, Praise also Communicates God’s greatness and Connects us to Him. Praise is Contagious, Captivating, Compelling and even a Compass that points people to God.
