| Introduction to NETS (Nurture - Equip - Train - Send) |
|
In CPBC, we believe that every Christian is a minister, a servant, a soldier and a steward. That is to say that the ministry is not protected and reserved for the clergy—“the professionals.” The ministry belongs to every member of the church. Because of this belief, we are committed to the task of nurturing, equipping and developing each and every member of our church to become ministers of God so that we can be an impact in the world as light and salt. Obedience and victorious Christian living do not come about automatically, these are the results of one being taught, nurtured and equipped with the Word of God. Therefore, CPBC believes in equipping every member for the work of the ministry. And thus birthed our Christian Education arm called NETS, NETS being the acronym for Nurture - Equip - Train - Send! From Senior Pastor's office
The past two Sunday celebrations have impacted me in such an unusual way. I heard a clear call to prayer coming from the Holy Spirit through the worship, words, testimonies and messages over these two weeks. Last Sunday Pastor Benny Ho spoke on prayer and intercession reminding us that Zechariah 10:1 tells us to: “Ask the LORD for rain in the time of the latter rain” (NKJV). So when the rain is already falling and you are getting wet, ask for more!
Cell Life
CPBC is committed to being a Cell Group Church! We are a church where members are actively involved in the cells and every member is equipped to minister the Word and Works of Christ, thus becoming God’s ministers to reach people at all levels of society. We are a church where life flows through the cells. In a cell, community life is built through worship, ministry, edification, training and nurturing. Please visit a cell today & be blessed! A cell directory with all the cell details is available online (click below) or you can grab a copy of it at the admin table.
